My family believes that cleanliness is important to have a healthy lifestyle.When I was a kid, I am used to Family Rubbing Alcohol for disinfection and other household purposes. Then one time, my mom tried Green Cross Isopropyl Alcohol which is 70% solution. The 500 mL bottle lasted for more than a month.
My personal comment on this one is that it is milder than our previous brand. Aside from the fact that it smells better it has the same effect. I use it as antiseptic for wounds and it does not hurt at all. Even in small cut, I am not afraid to use it. I am confident with Green Cross. It is very useful even outdoors. During scouting, I make sure to bring a small bottle of it. It also worked well on insect bites and provides comfort for prickly heat. I will choose Green Cross over other known brands here like Casino and Family Rubbing Alcohol.
Each 100mL of Green Cross contains 70mL Isopropyl Alcohol that is why it is not so harsh on the skin. I also found it effective for body massage but I often do it. Another use of this alcohol is for hygienic purposes. I have to admit that I use it on hard to reach areas and it serve as a cleanser, too. I can see how it removes the dirt and excess oil from my skin. There are only few occasions that I used it on my face; it is only when I got no other choice. I usually use a cotton and small amount of this alcohol to clean my neck and nape, navel and other parts of the body. This is very good in sanitizing not just myself but also to my belongings. I have used it many times to wipe my computer table. All I have to do is wet a tissue paper with Green Cross alcohol then clean my things. You can try it yourself and start living in a cleaner environment.
